30th anniversary report highlights advances in fertility treatment and care.

Our annual conference 2018 took place on Thursday 15 March at Church House, Westminster. We celebrated the 40th birthday of Louise Brown, the world’s first IVF baby, and looked at how far the sector has come in that time.

As the UK’s fertility regulator, we want to ensure that people are receiving correct information in the interest of patient safety and clarity.”

We have no remit in relation to regulating surrogacy arrangements that take place outside the UK.
