We license and inspect clinics and laboratories to ensure safe, effective services for everyone affected by fertility treatment. We hold the largest database of fertility treatments in the world.

Head of Information
We are seeking to recruit to the post of Head of Information. There has never been a better time to join the HFEA. We are near completion of the roll-out of our new Register and data submission system and publication of Choose a Fertility Clinic data. We are also actively developing our Opening the Register team to meet an increase in demand.
The Head of Information is a senior role and is accountable for our Register, our Register support team, our Opening the Register team and IG/Records Management team.
The Register is a database of information about every fertility treatment carried out in the UK, populated with patient data received from clinics, that the HFEA has been responsible for since 1991, the longest running register of its kind in the world. The Head of Information has responsibility for the quality of information held in the database, working with clinics and internal technical and analytical experts.
Interviews are expected to take place on Tuesday 2nd September, in-person at 2 Redman Place.

Inspector (Clinical)
We are looking to recruit two Clinical Inspectors to join our team on twelve-month contracts to cover maternity leave. You will need to have a clinical/nursing background and experience of working in a senior role in the related discipline relevant to healthcare.
You will take responsibility for managing a portfolio of HFEA licensed centres. You will be able to work independently; to make professional judgements on the impact of non-compliance; to be resilient when managing difficult situations, and; be able to make proportionate and effective recommendations to promote compliance. You should be committed to promoting a culture of continuous improvement.
Interviews will take place on Monday 15 September at Redman Place, London.

Inspections & Logistics Officer
We are seeking to recruit one full-time, permanent Inspections & Logistics Officer to join our team.
You will be responsible for providing a multi-tiered support service from within the Compliance Business Support Team with specialist emphasis on the delivery of process and logistical support for the inspection programme and Compliance related projects.
The responsibilities include managing and ensuring the successful delivery of directorate priorities identified in the HFEA business plan and Departmental service delivery plan; you will be responsible for monitoring and managing the delivery of key milestones and updating relevant support documentation.
Interviews will take place on Tuesday 16 September.

Senior Data & Insights Analyst
We are looking for a full-time Senior Data and Insights Analyst to join our Research and Intelligence team to lead on using data across the HFEA including in statistical reports and our award-winning dashboards, as well managing preparation of large and sensitive datasets for specific research purposes.
The HFEA holds the longest running national dataset of fertility treatment in the world keeping a record of every patient, partner, donor, and child born as a result of fertility treatment since 1991.
Interviews are expected to take place w/c 15 September 2025.
