Bishop Richard Harries
We are deeply saddened to learn of the death of Bishop Richard Harries, former Bishop of Oxford.
Bishop Harries was a member of the HFEA Board (the Authority) from 2003-2009, and Interim Chair in 2006. Bishop Harries was known to many as a leading public voice on ethical issues over his long life and he played a key role in the development of the policy framework that has shaped fertility treatment and human embryo research in the UK.
