We are looking for a creative and enthusiastic individual to join the newly formed Intelligence team aiming to improve standards through intelligence. This role will work across the organisation, and will have an impact upon how information is used in national policy setting, statistical publications and communications. The individual will analyse qualitative and quantitative information and have a talent for seeing the big picture from the detail, and be able to translate this into impact on outcomes.

Head of Human Resources
Contract type: Full time
Salary:£48,000 - £52,000

We are looking for a full-time Head of HR to support the next stage of our organisational development. Reporting directly to the Chief Executive and with regular contact with our Senior Management Team and Board. The role is being offered as a permanent post or as a secondment for a period of 2 years.
The successful candidate will be responsible for HR strategy, business partnering, learning and development, providing advice to managers on employment legislation and other related issues, advice on equality and diversity and workforce planning. You would also need to be confident in representing the HFEA in various external HR fora, notably with other health ALBs and across the Civil Service HR function. The candidate will be able to access HR professional development via the Department for Health HR function
Making the most of these new systems will require a renewed focus on our staff and developing their confidence and skills is central to the development of our new People Strategy. This is an exciting opportunity to implement that new strategy and to provide HR leadership for staff at all levels.
As a first project for the successful candidate would be to undertake a review of our HR and OD functions to ensure that they meet our strategic and operational needs.
In a small organisation like the HFEA, with c.70 staff, flexibility is key and the successful candidate would need, on occasion, to be willing to undertake a range of operational HR tasks as required.
