27-02-2006: HFEA announces new Authority Member

The Human Fertilisation and Embryology Authority (HFEA) has announced the appointment of a new Authority member, Dr Sue Price, who has been selected by the NHS Appointments Commission. Dr Price will serve a three-year with immediate effect.

Authority members of the HFEA ? the UK regulator for embryo research and fertility treatment - have asked for more detailed examination of how donors could be protected and how the financial aspects of research donation would work before they bring in a new policy on the donation of eggs, sperm and embryos for research.
