Dr Sue Price

Biography

Dr Sue Price was appointed to the HFEA in January 2006. She is the consultant in Clinical Genetics for Northamptonshire, as part of the Oxford Regional Genetic Service. From April 1998, leading a small team, she has provided a comprehensive adult and paediatric genetic service for the county, including prenatal and predictive genetic testing.

She has a special interest in rare syndrome diagnosis. Graduating from Manchester Medical School, she initially trained in Paediatrics prior to completing specialist training in Clinical Genetics.

Dr Price has developed an interest in medical law and ethics, particularly in relation to genetics, research and consent. She has recently completed an MA in Health Care Law and Ethics from Swansea.
