Mrs Ruth Fasht OBE

Biography

Ruth Fasht OBE joined the HFEA following a long career in the field of adoption and in child and family support services.

A Director of a leading children's and family voluntary sector organisation for 20 years, she also led the team which was  responsible for the setting up of the Adoption Register for England & Wales.

She is a qualified social worker, a pyschotherapist and has experience at Board level in four national organisations.
