HFEA Open Authority meeting

The Human Fertilisation and Embryology Authority is the UK's independent regulator overseeing safe and appropriate practice in fertility treatment and embryo research.

As an open and accountable regulator we invite you to attend our next Open Authority meeting. This will be held on the afternoon of Wednesday 2nd July 2008 in Central London.

The Open Authority Meeting provides a first-hand insight into how the HFEA makes decisions on issues that matter to thousands of IVF patients across the UK.

There will also be an opportunity to meet the new Chair of the HFEA, Professor Lisa Jardine and other members of the Authority informally over tea and coffee after the meeting.

How do I register?
The meeting is free to attend. However, places are allocated on a first come, first served basis.

If you would like to attend, please email your name, the organization you represent and contact details to openmeeting@hfea.gov.uk by Wednesday 25 June 2008.

Confirmation of your attendance will be sent by email and will include details of the venue, time and outline agenda. 



HFEA Annual Conference 2008

Putting the Act into action - working together for the future

Human Fertilisation and Embryology Authority (HFEA) is holding their annual Conference on Monday 13th October at the Royal College of Surgeons in London.

The HFEA Annual Conference brings together experts from across the assisted reproduction and embryo research sectors to allow delegates to stay ahead of the latest developments, thinking and challenges.

Key speakers this year include:

  • Rt Hon Dawn Primarolo MP, Minister of State for Public Health and
  • the new Chair of the HFEA, Professor Lisa Jardine.

The conference is free, but places will be allocated on a first come first served basis. In case of exceptional demand, we may need to limit places to 3 people per organisation.

If you would like to attend, please register your interest by email to annualconference@hfea.gov.uk no later than Wednesday 1st October.

Confirmation of attendance will be sent by email closer to the date along with your delegate pack.
