How we Regulate

Our guidance is contained in the HFEA's Code of Practice. All new guidance is found in letters from our Chair and Chief Executive, before we incorporate it into subsequent editions of the Code of Practice.

Latest licensing news


22-05-2008: As the appeal has not yet been determined, the Authority has granted a licence to the Assisted Reproduction and Gynaecology Centre, London (ARGC), which is valid until the 31st July 2008.

18-01-2008: The Crawley Hospital and the Surrey and Sussex Fertility Centre (Redhill) have had their treatment licences suspended   from 17 January 2008 .
