Public consultations

At the HFEA we are launching two consultations on 17th November 2008 that will affect the way we work with both patients and clinics. We are consulting on:

  • how we present information about clinics to patients and other interested audiences
  • the draft HFEA 8th Code of Practice and revised consent forms.

We invite responses to our consultations from clinics, patients, the public and anyone else who may be interested. Your views are important to us. Taking part is easy and your help is appreciated.

Both consultations are open until Wednesday 18th February 2009.

Presenting clinic performance and outcome data consultation

Your feedback will help us to present success rates in the most useful and meaningful way.

This will help us to consider the benefits of adopting a more holistic approach such as providing information about patient experience, clinical safety and quality of service of clinics.
