Compliance Committee

This Committee was discontinued on 31 March 2013. Some of its functions were taken over by the Ethics and Standards Committee, while others moved to the Statutory Approvals Committee.

The Compliance Committee oversees the work of the HFEA in relation to the licensing and inspection of treatment, storage and research facilities, and the operation of the HFEA Code of Practice.

The Authority has delegated to the Compliance Committee, the power to issue directions on its behalf.
