Summary of request
The Authority was asked for information about treatment cycles in the UK since 2000 using mothers’ own frozen-thawed eggs including cycles, pregnancies, birth events and babies born.
HFEA response
The data requested can be found in the table below. Please note that all numbers between 1 and 4 have been replaced with a ’*’. This is to protect the anonymity of those to whom the HFEA owe a duty of care as permitted in section 33(a) of the Human Fertilisation and Embryology Act 1990.
The data period covers 2000/01/01 up until 2012/06/30 for pregnancies and 2000/01/01 to 2011/06/30 for births as this is the most recent data we publish which has gone through our regular verification process. This data was correct as of 12/07/2013 and is subject to change with improvements to data reporting techniques in addition to improvements made in our database integrity.
