Summary of request
The Authority was asked for the number of treatments in the UK involving surrogacy and the resulting births between 2007 and 2012, as well as a list of centres that have been involved in surrogacy arrangements.

Please find this data in the table below. Please note that the data is correct as of 03/07/2013 based on forms submitted by licensed clinics indicating that the treatment was a surrogacy. It is possible that these numbers could change in the future if the data reported to us by the sector is amended and as we make improvements to our own database’s integrity.
