Summary of request
The Authority was asked for information regarding the number of IVF treatments, patients and babies born in 2010 and 2011 according to patients' relationship statuses.
HFEA response
The requested data is in the table below. Please note that in some cases the total number of patients is slightly different from the sum of the different relationship statuses as very few patients have come under more than one category. This may be due to a change in the patients' circumstances or to anomalies on the forms.
