Summary of request

The Authority was asked for information on the number of IVF treatments, patients and babies born in 2010 and 2011 broken down by the relationship status of the patient.

HFEA response

The requested data is shown in the table. Please note than in some cases the total number of patients is slightly different from the sum of the different relationship statuses as very few patients have come under more than one category. This may be due to a change in the patient's circumstances or to anomalies on the forms.
