Salary: c£30,000 per annum (plus benefits, including: 27.5 days annual leave, entry into the Principal Civil Service Pension Scheme (PCSPS) and childcare vouchers)

We are looking for a dynamic and enthusiastic individual to join our Communications team and take on the challenging role of Press and Public Enquiries Officer.
You will play an important role in helping promote and enhance the reputation of the HFEA and provide high quality information to patients and the public. You will enjoy being part of an organisation that deals with cutting edge science and often features in national media.
The key responsibilities of the role are to:
- liaise with the press, broadcast media and other media channels
- handle enquiries from the patients and the public, providing good quality information in a sensitive manner
- maintain and build a list of media contacts
- write press releases and statements
You will be an experienced communicator who can handle complex press queries and proactively seek out media opportunities. You will also be experienced in liaising with patients and the public, providing them with clear information, whether in person or via the HFEA website.
