F-2012-00288 - HFEA staff benefits
05 December 2012
Summary of request
The Authority was asked about benefits, including private health care, for HFEA staff.
HFEA response
The following information was requested:
1) The number of contracted staff at the Human Fertilisation and Embryology Authority who receive private health care benefits as part of their employment contract.
2) The amount of money spent on this benefit broken down annually over the last five years.
3) A full list of the different employment benefits offered to staff.
In reponse to questions 1 and 2, there are no contracted staff at the Human Fertilisation and Embryology Authority (HFEA) who receive private health care benefits as part of their employment contract and therefore no money has been spent on this over the last five years.
In response to question 3, benefits for all staff at the HFEA are as follows:
- Civil Service Pension Scheme
- Childcare vouchers
- Cycle scheme
- Tax free IT computer scheme
- Interest free season ticket loan
- Free eye tests (Optical Express)
