Summary of request
The Authority was asked for the total amount paid to all trade unions for financial years 2010-11 and 2011-12 and a list of payments made to each trade union. In addition the Authority was asked which trade unions the HFEA provide staff-time to for official union duties and the number of full time equivalent staff that were provided for each trade union. Furthermore the applicant asked if the HFEA deduct trade union subscriptions from staff salaries in the payroll process in order to pass them on to the trade unions and how much the organisation charge each union for this service.
