The Health Research Authority (HRA) appoints Sally Cheshire as their new Non-executive Director, Audit Committee Chair member

Sally Cheshire has been appointed as the Non-executive Director, Audit Committee Chair for the Health Research Authority (HRA).
Sally’s devotion to delivering improved services to patients has seen her become an HFEA member since 2006, acting as chair of the Audit and Governance Committee.
She is also currently the Vice Chair of NHS North of England, the strategic health authority responsible for leading the NHS and overseeing the performance of all NHS organisations across the North.
Chair of the HFEA, Professor Lisa Jardine, said:
“Sally Cheshire's appointment as audit committee chair to the HRA confirms the calibre of her contribution to public sector regulation. We are proud to have her as a member of the HFEA and her new role is sure to further strengthen the relationship between us and the HRA.”
