Summary of request

The Authority was asked whether it would be issuing a public statement regarding the recent press articles about OHSS. Also, for a copy of the FOI release that provided the data misquoted in the press articles about OHSS.

HFEA response

The HFEA does not intend to issue a public statement regarding the recent press articles about OHSS. A search of our records has not retuned any matching FOI release. We believe that the information was in fact released by the HFEA not under the FOI Act but to the Parliamentary Under-Secretary of State for the Department of Health in 2008 and a copy of the data we provided is attached.
