Reverend Ermal Kirby
Rev. Kirby is the Chair of the London District of the Methodist Church, having special responsibility for the Church’s engagement with the City’s social challenges and governance, and for relationships with other Churches and faiths. The London district comprises 247 churches grouped in 41 circuits and supported by around 230 ministers and lay employees.
Prior to taking up this appointment in 2006, Rev. Kirby was the Chair of the London North East District; responsible for the oversight of 90 ministers, serving 210 congregations. Rev.Kirby has studied Theology widely, having qualifications in Ministerial Studies, and a BA (hons) and MA gained from Oxford University.
