Summary of request

The Authority was asked for a list of all the HFEA’s transactions with the organisation Solace in each of the last three financial years (08/09 – 10/11). Also, a list of any a) internal staff magazine or newspapers and b) patient magazine or newspapers published by the HFEA in each of the last three financial years (08/09 – 10/11).

HFEA response

Our records show one transaction with the organisation Solace during the financial years 08/09 – 10/11. The transaction date and amount have previously been disclosed under the FOI Act and are available on the HFEA website at http://www.hfea.gov.uk/6618.html . As this information is reasonably accessible via the HFEA website, it is exempt from disclosure under section 21 FOIA and this part of the request is, accordingly, refused. With regards to the second question, the HFEA has not published any printed magazines and newspapers for internal staff or patients in the financial years 08/09 – 10/11 that listed events/activities or regional, national or NHS news as specified in the request.
