Summary of request

The Authority was asked for a copy of the HFEA’s register of directors’ interests and for the purpose of responding to the request ‘directors’ was interpreted to mean members of the Authority.

HFEA response

A register of members’ interests is regularly published as part of our annual report and accounts which are available to download / view at: http://www.hfea.gov.uk/146.html . For the most recent annual report and accounts (2009/10) the information requested begins on page 41.  As the information requested is reasonably accessible via the HFEA website, it is exempt from disclosure under section 21 FOIA.

Please note our directors are the senior executive management team and are all full-time employees.  Further details about them are both available on the website (http://www.hfea.gov.uk/125.html ) and in the annual report and accounts.
