Summary of request

The Authority was asked for information about the total number of sperm donors and the number of which are Indian, Pakisatani, Bangladeshi or Sri Lankan with the addition of Sri LankanTamil.

HFEA response

The total number of sperm donors registered to date is 7072 and the total number of the subset requested (Indian, Pakisatani, Bangladeshi and Sri Lankan with the addition of Sri LankanTamil) is 221. Please note these are total figures to 30 June 2010.
