Summary of request

The Authority was asked for information about the percentage of ectopic pregnancies that have occurred following IVF in clinics in the East of England. 

HFEA response

The attached table gives the percentages of ectopic or heterotopic pregnancies for all IVF (including micromaipulation) cycles at clinics in the Eastern region where one or more embryos were transferred.  The percentages are expressed as a band because the numbers of actual cases are, in some cases, extremely small.
