Summary of request
The Authority was asked for information about the number of children born following transfer of previously frozen embryos where the embryos, or the sperm or eggs used to create them, were donated.
HFEA response
The tables in the attached document give clinical pregnancy and known outcome information for transfer of previously frozen embryos where the embryos, or the sperm of eggs used to create them, were donated. The second table, recording the use of fresh eggs/embryos relates to treatments in the context of a surrogacy arrangement.
