The Authority was asked for data on staffing profiles for 76 centres between January 1999 and January 2000.

HFEA response

The attached document contains a list of staff profiles for active IVF centres as recorded on HFEA's internal database between 1 January 1999 and 1 January 2000.  The list will also include
.        Clinic ID

.        No of accredited consultants

.        No of embryologists

.        No of ICSI practitioners

.        No of nursing staff

.        No of other medical staff included in licence.
Where available, details of management roles have also been included.  The data provided has not been verified and may not be a true reflection of the staffing profiles at the centres at the time.
