The HFEA has redacted the names of junior members of staff and not disclosed the curriculum vitae submitted as part of this application. This information is withheld under sections 40(2) and 40(3)(a)(i) of the Freedom of Information Act 2000. The Authority is of the opinion that disclosure of such information would be in breach of the first data protection principle (fair and lawful processing) as set out in schedule 1 of the Data Protection Act 1998 ('DPA'), and that none of the conditions set out in schedule 2 DPA are satisfied.
