The HFEA was asked if it outsourced its IT services.
 

HFEA response
 

The HFEA does not outsource its IT services but has an in-house team of developers, analysts and network support personnel. This is in part because of particular information provision and security obligations placed on us by Human Fertilisation and Embryology legislation. We do have contracts for IT maintenance, a webhosting server lease and procure specialist IT services under contract occasionally.
