UK and overseas donors
Number of donors with a UK residential address compared to those with an overseas address,
2005-2008
- Country of residence was first recorded by the HFEA in June 2004, in advance of the changes to the law around donor anonymity. Figures are given from 2005 onwards as that is the first complete calendar year.
- All donors, whether UK or overseas, must provide the same information to the HFEA and are subject to the same screening requirements.
