A summary of the meeting of the Human Fertilisation and Embryology Authority in July 2000

At its July 2000 meeting the Authority received a report of the meeting chaired by the HFEA's Chairman with pro-life representatives.

The meeting also began its detailed discussions on the next edition of the HFEA's Code of Practice, and continued its consideration of its Guidance on egg sharing arrangements and the analysis of the responses received to the HFEA/ACGT (now the HGC) joint consultation on PGD. The Authority also reviewed the draft 2000 Annual Report and the next issue in the series of HFEA Updates.
