The HFEA’s strategic objectives set out our key major aspirations for the medium term future. We discussed a wide range of issues and drivers when developing these objectives.

Our 5 strategic objectives for the next 3 years focus on:

• Our role and the boundaries between ourselves and other organisations 
• Meeting the needs of existing fertility service users and stakeholder groups 
• Identifying and addressing the needs of new and emergent stakeholder groups 
• HFEA data used for research purposes
• Improvements to organisational performance and governance
