Scientific and Clinical Advances Advisory Committee (SCAAC)

The Scientific and Clinical Advances Advisory Committee (SCAAC) is a subcommittee of the Authority. It meets four or five times a year to consider advances in science and clinical practice which are relevant to the Authority's work. The committee is appointed from members of the Authority (including a proportion of lay members) and some co-opted members.
